| Jim Heatherly Catering has been in business in the LaFollette area since 1934. Jim's grandparents owned and operated a country grocery store until his parents took it over in 1964. In 1997, they sold the store but retained full ownership of the catering business which we had started in 1991. In 2007 Robin Evans and Julie Madison purchased Jim Heatherly Catering. They are both local women of Campbell County, with Julie growing up in Caryville and Robin in Jacksboro. Prior to purchasing Jim Heatherly Catering, Julie and Robin had been in the catering business for 4 years, under the name Silver Tray Catering. Jim Heatherly has been working with Julie and Robin since the purchase and will continue to do so for a few months to ensure the transition is smooth. They plan to keep all the traditions and menus of Jim Heatherly Catering the same but incorporating their own ideas and speciality items into the business to make it uniquely their own. Most of our food is homemade. We grind the chuck used in our patties and chili. We cut all the steaks to ensure they are all of uniform size and sure to please the customer. The potato salad, cole slaw and baked beans are all prepared from scratch in our own kitchen and we fix the best tossed salads. Sit back and let Julie and Robin serve you. |
